Nick Abcarian is a multidisciplinary CG Supervisor with a wide range of experience and expertise. After completing his studies at Art Center College of Design at USC, he initially specialized in graphic design and illustration. However, eager to explore new ways of crafting images and expressing ideas, Nick eventually found his way into the world of VFX. His experience spans the full creative pipeline from concept and asset development to previs, techvis, postvis and finals.
At OPSIS, Nick adapts his approach to the needs of the project. Whether that means collaborating on-site to create previs with mocapped stunt performers, using real-time workflows to incorporate director feedback on the fly, or working procedurally in Houdini to allow for maximum flexibility.
