The lab is designed for writers and authors to work hands-on to develop their skills around writing for cartoons with the help of Richard Pursel, Emmy Award Winner and season writer of Ren&Stimpy Show, Spoonge Bob series and other famous cartoons.

On completion of the lab, you will

  • develop the very heart of your story, characters’ profiles
  • strengthen your skills as storytellers
  • enhance your team-development processes and workflow
  • get a stamp of credibility for your project in the eyes of potential co-producers

How it works

The residential lab is based on the teamwork of small group participants who bring their projects to work on. Each team will be led by an internationally recognized and experienced supervisor, including lectures and one-on-one consultations with the guest supervisor.

Before the residential lab, online consultation with the mentor will occur. This is to ensure our mentor is familiar with your project and that you receive a series of questions and feedback before you join the lab.

After the residential workshops, your project will be presented for feedback to a three-member international expert panel composed of producers and distributors.
