ANOMALIA 2011 COURSES UPDATE

Currently, the main 3D character animation course that ANOMALIA runs this upcoming summer 2011 in Litomysl is already full to capacity. The interest in our course has overcome our expectations. Students will be coming from various regional EU countries such as Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia as well as France, UK, Holland, Sweden.

All of the tutors have confirmed their summer participation. We are glad to welcome, again, Andy Schmidt and Rich Quade from PIXAR, and newly Michelle Meeker (Animation Mentor, formerly PIXAR and Weta Digital)

KEITH LANGO IN THE TOWN

We are more then honored to welcome a truly well known animator and tutor Keith Lango (his blog www.keithlango.com ) right after the main animation course. Keith will come for only one week in September but his class will focus on supporting already trained animation students and professionals in a course called TIPS AND TRICKS FOR ANIMATORS. Students will provide Keith with their animation reels at least 2 months before he arrives in Litomysl, and based on his analysis of each student’s current skills will work individually with everybody to push their perfomance further.  Welcome video with Keith Lango . VICTOR VINYALS AND HIS TD MAGIC

And our last 3D course with a great rigger Victor Vinyal’s, that will focus on teaching students the art of creating a fully animatable 3D puppet to meet standards of current modern feature films, still has 4 more seats available (of 15). We are very glad to run this course since the art of rigging is very needed in the industry as well as on any small and mid size projects. The lack of talented professionals in the production area is always a challenge and we hope to address this challenge.
