3BOHEMIANS STUDIO PREPARES ITS 2nd 3D SHORT FILM

3BOHEMIANS have been granted funding from the Czech Film Fund for their second 3D animated short film, called WILDLIFE CROSSING.

Modern short animated film of an animator and director Noro Držiak. The story of a witty and dynamic narrative  about love of two snails, which must overcome the pitfalls of the harsh reality that separates them - the road in the middle of the countryside.

The film is fast paced action comedy with story nuances that refer to the various social aspects of interpersonal relationships and real life.

3D computer comedy. The characters - animals - are designed to allow a grotesquely over-react to the situation and use the deformation of bodies. Action absurd situations turn quiet and vice versa. Everything is shot from the perspective of the animals, the camera is mainly down at the ground, except for some emotional detachments. The human characters in the film we see only their legs, orsilhouettes.

The ambition of this short film is mainly to define the modern 3D animation style combined with cartoon backgrounds and technical effects, storytelling, and specifically playful animation of the main protagonists. Furthermore, to give the modern Czech animated film into a worldwide distribution in cooperation with the co-production partners.Finally, provide an important professional experience of the Czech animation film students who passed the professional 3D animation courses ANOMALIA.

3BOHEMIANS are currently looking for artists to consider for our new short film production WILDLIFE CROSSING. We are looking mainly into animators, riggers, lighting artists in general. At the moment, anybody is free and welcomed to apply. The production will take place in 2012.You must be proficient in using Autodesk Maya and have a visible artistic approach to your work and proven production experience. Very talented students without further production experience are also welcomed to join us.
